We specialise in Brushes for Industrial Processes, which encompasses many types of brush. We have many years of experience in the making of Brushes for the Food Industry, whether in production processes or in Cleaning Equipment. STRIP BRUSHES:
Strip brushes are probably the most versatile brush we have. Available in many sizes and guises, there seem to be no end of uses to which these are put! Available as “brush only” or in holders made from aluminium, stainless steel or plastic. Special shapes can also be considered. Please enquire.

SPIRALLY WOUND STRIP BRUSHES
Strip brushes can be coiled around a shaft to make roller brushes, either close coiled or spaced. They can be filled with any synthetic filaments (soft or stiff) or any type of wire. If you need help please ask.

SOLID CORE ROLLER BRUSHES
Roller Brushes can also be made with a solid core. This can be of wood or plastic and the tufts can be of any pattern you wish. Fillings can be natural fibres, man made filaments or wire.

This range of brushes can be made from a wide variety of materials. There are many options on the filling too. Examples of uses: Lath brushes can be used as supports for bench or conveyor tops to provide a scratch free surface for the handling of glass and window frames. In the printing industry they are used as guides or brakes, and in sorting and labelling. Anti-static brushes are available.

ANTI STATIC BRUSHES
Special Anti-static brushes are available for every application. Typical areas are packaging machinery, plastic sheet wrappers, copiers, conveyor systems and for removing static from highly sensitive electrical components, films and data carriers. Stainless steel yarn and carbon fibre are the fillings. Conversly, these brushes can also be used to APPLY electricity to the work pieces!

SEWAGE TREATMENT BRUSHES
For many years Cooks have supplied brushes for the Water Treatment Industry. Whether it be a “new build” or replacement brushes we can supply. We specialise in L-shaped strip brushes, to follow the contours of concrete troughs. We can also produce “block brushes” for scraper arms. Please enquire.

FOOD INDUSTRY BRUSHES
Based in East Anglia, Cooks have always been involved in the manufacturing and supply of brushes and equipment for the Food Industry. We have extensive experience of brushes used in harvesting, sorting, cleaning and packing fruit and vegetables. We produce brushes to Food Standards for production processes, as well as supplying cleaning equipment.

We can supply various Rotary Power Brushes. Discs, Cups, Bevels, Deburrers etc. These have many, many uses in Industry. Fillings in most types of metal wire and softer materials.
